OFFLINE LP OUT NOW
Guiltfilter's sixth official studio release and third full-length album OFFLINE is out today on Compact Disc and upcoming Quadraphonic PA live shows. After three and half years the GFR munchkins finally finished mastering the 12 track LP late last night and OK'd the CD release today.
Although GFR Mags wrote, composed, recorded, mixed, mastered & designed the album DIY style we do want to thank a few peeps who without their support this album would be greatly diminished, especially the young jazz session musicians: drummer Iliya Zakharov and trumpeter Reuben Strentz. There are many more so I have published the LP liner notes in full later in this post. OK Here is how how to hear the OFFLINE LP in 2026:
LIVE IN QUADRAPHONIC SOUND
Coming up over the next few months, and expanding on the live launch last december, Guiltfilter shall be performing the live audio visual experience in quadraphonic sound, this is truly the best way to hear this album as it was intended with a wide quadraphonic field and bowl growling subharmonics - full details very soon.
COMPACT DISK
The CD's have been pressed in-house here at GFR studios and sound amazing and are available on the website in the merch section. They feature a gatefold full cover artwork and 12 tracks of our most subversive lyrics and heavy and harmonised OFFLINE goodness. Note: The CDs are in stereo as this format does not support quadraphonic sound, all the effect dialogs are included in a wide stereo field so it is recommended to listen on headphones or decent stereo hifi.

VINYL & STREAMING RELEASES
Once we can afford to remaster and press what is going to have to be an expensive double vinyl album, GFR shall let you all know: should be early next year if those criminal governments/supermarkets don't triple their prices again while reducing their staffs pay-packets and giving their upper management another million dollar monthly bonus while single mums can barely afford medicine and food - if we had any guts at all we would chop off their heads pronto - however all our anger is diffused by films like Fight Club where we release out real instincts by masterbatingly pretending we are subversive because we watched an edgy movie so yeah FYI taking action is subversive, watching it aint folks.

Compact Disk digital artwork, photography, modelling and front cover acrylic painting on canvas by GFR Mags
this new Guiltfilter album 'OFFLINE' is by dent of modern economics a purely DIY project and a huge amount of work went into making it between 2023 to 2026: all the writing and demos and early takes happened at a Waterloo Cr home studio in St Kilda before completing all the tracking & mixing at my semi-pro GFR studio down the road at Conterminous Studios where I used aussie mics and set up quadraphonic monitors. Now doing these sfx parts and learning to record & mix somewhat professionally added at least a year to the project and the last year and half was brutal 7 day weeks n long hours n working the holidays to complete the music, artwork and videos.
I am really hoping you love this album as much as I do and I think you’ll agree it has a level of complexity that is new for Guiltfilter and I am taking a great leap changing Guiltfilter to this quadraphonic 1-piece live with sfx and spoken word and it co-insides with moving away from the music industry so full of money greed leeches who have, since forever, been feeding you the lie that music should be judged, and jusged specifically using numbers well fuck off consumer music industry shite. OFFLINE is just some art that I am sharing free to the local community in non traditional venues with the GFR quadraphonic PA setup and the lyric-visuals of stella and they are smartphone free events too so OFFLINE performances are only retained in memory and not on machines. I also really hope you come see this album live ‘cos that’s where it shines and you probably need to get out of the house more and stop staring at screens all night anyway I imagine”
